A small she-cat awoke in the shelter of her den. She was glad she was a medicine cat, as she, in her opinion had the best den, it sheltered her from the hash winds and coldness of winter, and was probably the reason she never got sick. Well, she may owe that to her long, thick, fur that kept her warm and sheltered from the wind that often swept through her clan's territory, and camp. She stood up and shook the moss off of her fur, before looking at her herb supply. It was pathetic, really, but she had what she needed, but was certain that she needed more. She wandered over to the hole in the fallen tree that was the entrance to her den, and stepped out. Her blue eyes narrowed as she blinked back the light that met her eyes. Though it wasn't even sunhigh yet, it was very bright. As whatever light there was reflected off of the pure white sheet that was wrapped around her home. She squinted, looking up; tiny flakes of white were falling from the sky. more snow... she thought. It's a miracle no cats have come in with greencough. Though the ground was cold underpaw, she didn't really mind. She looked around hoping to see a warrior leaving for a patrol, she wanted to go with them to look for herbs. She didn't want to be a hawks dinner on this day.

x.XPassionstarX.x A lithe brown tabby sat just outside her den, watching the camp. The snow made it seem like it was going in slow motion, as if all the cats in the clearing were trudging through mud instead of just walking. Passionstar looked to the fresh kill pile as a couple of apprentices dropped their meager additions onto it. The snow was scaring all the prey into their dens, and it was taking its toll on the Clan. She added more hunting patrols to her mental list of things to do. The Windclan leader noticed Dreamracer as she walked out of the medicine cat den, blinking in the brightness. She walked to the other end of the clearing where the medicine cat sat. "Hello, Dreamracer." She greeted as she reached the other she-cat. "How are you doing today?"

DreamRacer
The small tabby lifted her head to her leader. She felt sorry for him in this weather; her pelt was so much thicker and longer than his, she hoped he wasn't feeling ill. Relieved that no burden of sickness weighed him down, she let out a purr of greeting and relief to him. In answer to his question, she meowed; 'I am doing well, Passionstar, but i fear for the health of the clan, as I am already low on herbs, and it will be nearly impossible for me to find more in this weather.' The emotion shown in her blue eyes dimmed with worry for her clanmates, though they reflected the light from the snow. She gazed up at her leader 'May i go out with a patrol to collect some? I dare'nt go out by myself in this weather...' she shut her eyes for a moment as she remembered seeing a kit being taken off by a hawk, she'd been worried since.

{{Passionstar is a girl}} x.XPassionstarX.xPassionstar shivered as a cold breeze raked through the camp. She did love Windclan and hated to leave the moor, but it got annoying sometimes, especially during Leafbare. She worried about the news that they were low on herbs, although it was starting to seem like everybody was always low on herbs. Was there ever a time when they had too many herbs, and had to find something to do with them? No. But she could feel better blaming it on a medicine cat attitude. They always thought they didn't have enough, because they didn't have extra stores just in case. There was nothing wrong with having extra herbs, except the Clan would always be worried because there weren't enough herbs.
"Of course you may go with a patrol, Dreamracer!" Passionstar said. "You can go ahead and go with the sunhigh patrol if you want to wait a bit, or see if somebody wants to lead a hunting patrol." There was never an excuse to keep a medicine cat from getting to the herbs, and Passionstar wasn't about to try to find one.

[[Oops, sorry (:]]
Dreamracer's blue eyes narrowed down to slits as she cast her eyes once more over her clan's camp. The sun was rising, making the snowy hills reflect more light, making the bright morning even more light. She nodded as her leader spoke, casting a quick look over to the warriors den. 'That's if any of them get up this morning' she purred, a lighthearted humor clinging to her tone, 'I won't go with a hunting patrol, as i might scare off valuable prey with my digging.' She stood up and shook some of the snow that was not encrusted around her underbelly and paws. She raised her fluffy tail and once again peered towards the warriors den, searching for activity.
